Get the homemade version of their gluten-free barbecue sauce, then make this sandwich! Never miss that smoky taste of home again!
1. To create the focaccia: use a gluten-free pizza crust (or make your own!) that’s thick enough to slice through the middle. Don’t slice it yet! Rub the top with olive oil and sprinkle on salt, pepper, and some Italian herbs (rosemary, basil, oregano…). Bake this in an oven at 400F for a few minutes so that it turns golden. Once cool, slice the crust into a top and bottom half – these are your sandwich layers!
2. Now, brush on each side of the focaccia bread some of that yummy barbecue sauce. Stack on top of these layers:
- 4 oz of Boar’s Head (all their products are GF!) Smoked Brisket
- Muenster Cheese – a few slices!
- Fresh Mixed Greens
- Tomato slices
- Red onion rings
Put this in a panini press, or place on a hot skillet (sprayed with oil) and grill on each side for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown and warm throughout.
