Tuesday Tip: Soften Brown Sugar

brown sugar microwave Don’t you hate it when you’re baking your favorite recipe, only to realize that your brown sugar has become hard as a rock?  As much as you try to soften it, you still get some uneven chunks in your treat.  But no more!  Simply place the brown sugar in the microwave next to a bowl of water.  After two or three minutes–voila!  Perfectly soft brown sugar.  Happy baking!
